Excitement was in the air this week as RCAO’s Helping Hands Learning Academy took delivery of a brand-new 24-passenger school bus. The addition of this safe, reliable vehicle fulfills a critical need and will significantly enhance our ability to expand access to early childhood education services.
This important milestone was made possible through the generous support of the City of Rahway, Columbia Bank Foundation, and RSI Foundation. Their contributions reflect a shared commitment to creating brighter futures for young learners in our community.
To celebrate the occasion, RCAO Executive Director Aneesha Ghaly was joined by Mayor Raymond Giacobbe, representatives from both foundations, RCAO Trustees Mansi Sanghvi McCarthy and Jennifer Pagan-Motta, and several enthusiastic summer campers. The gathering marked not just the arrival of a vehicle, but the beginning of new opportunities for growth, learning, and outreach.
“We are deeply grateful for the continued partnership and investment from our city and foundation supporters,” said Executive Director Aneesha Ghaly. “This new school bus is more than just transportation — it’s a pathway to opportunity for our students and families.”
